Ok, Now I'm Mad... I came here, found out I had a new friend request...went to go see it, and it was gone!!!
Basically, I came here to tell you what I want to do when I know I'm gonna die: -yell WOOHOO -get a list of stupid rich people within my vicinity -rob the stupid rich people -give the money I get out to various charities, and to friends of mine -get a bunch of new credit cards...and way over-spend on all of them -put my worst enemy at the top of my will - they get all my credit card accounts, my bank accounts, and all that cash debt I've been stashing -double-check that I'm gonna die -go rob a bank with an un-sharpened sword -beat the living hell outta the cashier when he laughs at me, then tear the place apart on my way out -stick it to the man -die before I get caught
In other news, Uruguay (no, I'm not making this country up) is awesome. Look at the upper-right hand corner of Argentina, and you'll find it in between her and Southern Brazil...yes, you CAN miss it. Anyway, awesome country, you should totally google it. OR READ MY 14-PAGE RESEARCH PAPER ON IT, DAMMIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Seriously though, pretty bitchin' - first World Cup played there, where they won. They also won in 1950...people in Brazil KILLED THEMSELVES over the match. I can understand their pain, though. I'd be mad too if my people assembled a country-wide festival, with parades, cake, and carnivals, i.e. before the match even took place. Then the Brazilians were up 1-0 in the second half; that's why it's not only "the beautiful game", but also "the Devil's game".
Oh yeah, and Guiseppe Garibaldi, you know him? You know, the guy who assembled all Italy in front of a loudspeaker from which he spoke: "congratulations, you're all unified!" Well, that's what you learn in Global class, anyway. Turns out he failed everywhere he went to unify it, but he got Piedmont on the right track to doing it by endorsing them. He died before it was even unified, by the way; he was also exiled. While he was exiled, he went to Uruguay. Luckily for him, while he was in the capital, Montevideo, the Blancos decided to besiege the Colorados with the help of the Argentines. He was stuck in Montevideo for the whole 9 (not really 9, but 9-ish) years of said siege. Turns out he was one b.a. dude down in Latin America, but apparently, that doesn't matter.
What's the point in taking global classes if you don't even learn anything???
Are Global Studies Classes in High School Worthless?
