Late post is late.
So ah, hi you guys. Geuss what, I did not fall into a crack between the dimensions and end up in the Swirly Colored Psychadelic Screensaver Zone and then forget to post to you for like a zillion months. Although that might have been kinda cool. Truth is the new meds (rather, the crisis engenered by them) made it really hard to focus on internet-related anything... annoying, isn't it, Ritalin is supposed to make it easier to focus on things dammit. But I dunno, it was like, too introspective or something, and The Pills were all like "RAAAAH I'M A STIMULANT GO OUT AND DO STIMULATED THINGS RIGHT NOW! DON'T THINK I WON'T CUT YOU BITCH!!" Actually it isn't that bad now, though, I think a lot of the initial disturbance was due to how much the stabilizer and the effects of going off it had fucked up my brain. Oh but listen to this- I got a job!! It's insane OMG! I was hired by an old family friend to help with this antique store he's starting up with one of his friends... he's a house painting/restoration guy and she's an interior decorator and compulsive collector.... they fight CRIME! Actually, no they don't... and they're paying me $50 semiweekly for a ten-to-six job, which is almost enough to cover half of my meds so that's cool, but holy shit is it nice to get away from my mom. Oh, and I get to bring my dog into work every day. My mom was in one of her moods which was exacerbated by a number of daytime raids on the neighbor's chicken coop and a fight with our little Jack that got to serious, and she started making ultimatums involving the local pound or the Needle of Death and it was all terribly upsetting but the upswing is that Dennis (he's the family friend) offered to let me bring her into work so she'd be out of my mom's sight.... and then it all kind of quieted down after a week or so but now Frankie is a fixture at the antique store so yay And oh wow this is the most I've written like anywhere for months, and it appears to actually make sense even though I'm breaking my No Wubs After Sleepypill Times rule.... though of course a lot of things make sense when seen through sleepypill goggles where normally they would not, buuuut anyway HI I MISSED YOU GUYS! Focusing on writing is still difficult for me, but I will try to commence to lurking then maybe work up to posting unless I get distraOOO LOOK A BUG!!! *bounces off!!* :D |
