Yes, I'm banging one tonight.
What are your top five videogames ever?

Here are mine:

5. Half-Life 2
My number five is an fps, and it's not Halo! In fact, Halo or Doom didn't even get picked! In fact, this is the ONLY fps on this list! I chose this because of it's superior storyline, gameplay, length, immersiveness, and it's focus on single-player gameplay. That's right, I'm not a multiplayer person. Which is why Halo didn't end up on this list. If I did enjoy multiplayer, this list would be completely different.

4. Mass Effect
This game is buggy. Extremely buggy. But I still beat it. Twice. And I'm working on my third time on the hardest diffuculty, which is no easy feat. It took about twenty five hours to beat the first time, and thirteen the second. It's a space rpg, and the concept is great, but I won't get into it. The story is, however, the best story in a videogame, I think of all time. The combat is in real time, and is very fluid. The graphics are great, but it's got a horrible texture pop-in problem. So it's a fantastic game, and if you play it right, you can see lesbian on alien lesbian anal sex!

3. Final Fantasy VII
Most people who like this game, and there are a lot of them, would by default put it in the top spot. I love this game more than a rational person would love any type of media, and yet it still only got the third spot. That's lot of capacity for loving something. This game was revolutionary. And it was long. And, from the last time I remember beating it, it was hard. The story was very complex, and you didn't know where the fuck to go. This fantastic game probably would have scored higher if it wasn't for the goddamned turn based battle system. I hate turn based battle, which is why I hardly ever finish a Jrpg. FFX? Didn't finished on the first playthrough. Eternal Sonata? Nope. Lost Odyssey? Close, but no cigar. In fact, I still haven't beaten that one.

2. The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion
Immense and immersing, this is a gigantic game that provides for multiple hundreds of hours of fun if you're me. And there's no turn-based fighting! The scope is unequaled, the story above average, and there's tons of other things to do besides finish the game. Like exploring. Like looting. Like doing random quests for money. Like spending loads of time honing one obscure skill like alteration, mysticism, or acrobatics. Like murdering innocent civilians. Like voluntarily becoming a vampire.

1. Kingdom Hearts
What is there to say that hasn't already been said? Many people consider FFVII to be the best Jrpg ever, and I tend to agree with them, except when Kingdom Hearts is concerned. Sure, FFVII has a fantastic story, setting, and cast of characters, but KH is still KH. It has a horrible camera problem. The voice acting is mediocre at best. The best character, Riku, isn't the main character, and he's only on screen for like thirty freaking minutes. But the story is, I consider, better than FFVII's, even though it's had Disney's hands all over it. And it's a real-time combat. No turn-based. That, and Riku's a badass.
