Splodge of updates
My older brother was down visiting in Glasgow last night, and I went along to see the Glasgow Warriors/Scarlet Rugby match with him and his welsh flatmate. While not particularly interested in sport most of the time, the game was okay and we didn’t freeze to death on the stands - though it was good to hang out with him In between assignments and collegework I've been finding time to finally watch that magic pony unicorn cartoon that people go on pester me over see what all the fuss is about. ![]() No not that one, the other one. I don’t think anyone understands what’s going on with that to be honest. ![]() In other news, apparently Greg Hemphill (ahove) of Still Game fame has written and is starring in a stage adaptation of The Wickerman in the Glasgow National Theatre. I’m definitely interested, what with it being one of my favourite films with a marvellous leading cast and winding suspense and foreboding terror. I'll see if I can't get some friends to come along for it. The Seventies Woodward and Lee one that is, I care nothing for the comparatively graphic, lacklustre version with Nicolas Cage. In fact, this is how much respect I show for it. I don't tend to order things online, as I'm uncertain when it comes to postage, whether it'll fit or if I'll like it, and I'm strange in the fact that I simply enjoy going out shopping *shrug* but I thought I'd give it a shot on the RT store. Coming home today I found that yes, my super special awesome Sarge T-Shirt came in. And yes, it does fit! (no pics, but it did happen) And lastly I’ve also been seeing posters for the Glasgow Short Film Festival everywhere lately. I’d be interested in seeing some of those as well, but something seems to be discouraging me from going, something in a particular poster I can’t quite put my finger on, Keep it Calm folks LINKED MEDIA
