I was in the paper, lol
Yeah, my husband (Rikturscale) was interviewed by a reporter in regards to the Halo 3 release. The reporter was a costumer at my husband's comic shop and called to see if any of the guys knew anything about the Halo games... the phone was promptly handed to my husband. During the interview Rik mentioned that he played Halo with his wife and I guess the reporter found that interesting because in our part of the article (he interviewed 2 other ppl) he wrote about the 'husband and wife Halo team who share everything together except for their TV screens', etc. Yes, we game in separate rooms on separate TVs and each have our own 360 for the optimum gaming experience, lol. The reporter also mentioned how we would both be in line at midnight to each get our copies of the game (the article came out the day before the release) and of course we were.
Now the funny thing is that I had no idea my husband did this until the day the paper came out. He calls me and tells my that I want a paper. I'm like I don't want the stupid paper waddaya talkin about. He goes, no really... you want a paper. I'm like, why do I want a paper? He says because you're mentioned in it. I'm like what????? He says go to the first page of the Entertainment section, so I did and there it was... an awesome picture of MC and a headline about the Halo 3 release and then the article. I was sooo excited! To be mentioned on the same page as my favorite game... I could have died, lol. Then I go back to work (I was on lunch when he called about the paper) and three ppl came to me and asked if I knew I was in the paper. So now I have the article hanging in my locker at work between my Gears of War magazine clipping and a small Appleseed poster. XDXD
