Parvo SUCKS!!!!!!!!!!!
We just got a 9 wk old dachsy. We named her Sammi. I should have named her Rocki! She is fighting for her life currently because she has parvovirus. She is hopefully past the worst of it. I got her for Mothers Day...three days later, the symptoms started showing up...she is on her 7th day of this crap, but she is finally at home with us. If she makes it past Saturday, she should have a 90% chance of surviving...we are at about 50% right now. She has lost 10% of her body weight and for a mini dachsy puppy, thats A LOT. But once she feels like eating again, it will come back :) Im confident she will be eating by the weekend. Until then, we are keeping her going with pedialite and amoxicilin and water.
