New Stuff
Well gang, (if 2-3 of you makes up a gang), not sure, Wish I could say work has been really busy, but I'd be lying if I did. Stuff has been dragging in the RV biz for a while but things are finally showing signs of turning around. We don't sell as many big diesel motorhomes as we used to, but the trailers are moving fairly well.
On to the more exiting stuff.
As a PC gamer, my sorry rig has been dragging me down. I was gaming with an old p4 and 1.25GB ram. Sure web surfing and minor stuff wasn't a problem. But playing my FPSs @ less than 30 fps was getting old for quite some time now.
A friend of mine in True Grit is a PC geek spec'd me out a parts list for what I had to spend and I assembled everything in about an hour, 40 min for Win7 install(give-take15min) and I am shittin' in high cotton. Went from a P4 and a radeon x1300 vid card to a 3.0 Phenom2 Quad-core and HD 5770 1GB card and 4 GB of ram.
What used to be 30FPS at best jumped to 290FPS......WOOOOOOOT!!!
Windows 7 is a big improvement too, love it.
Kaden is growing like a weed. Loves to help me do things around the house when I am in fix-it mode. Too bad he's not any help yet, but it sure is fun.
