Pepper Oct 2010 - May 2012
My last pet rat Pepper died yesterday morning...
I don't know if it is good or bad...
But it really hasn't.... idk... hurt me much?
Everyone in the family knew her time was coming.
I mean she is one of the oldest rats I have ever had, living 2 and 1/2 years.
Quite old for a rat...
She also left me quite quickly too =/
With most of the rats I have had, when I find them in the state where you know they are going to die they last for either a few hours or days depending on the cause. If they go to long suffering I bring them in to have them put down.
With Pepper however, she just kinda fell over and died.
Mom was waking me up saying there was something wrong with her,
and by the time I got up sh...

It just feels so... weird I guess you could say...
I have always been able to say the final goodbye to the people/things I love...
With Pepper I never really got that chance... And I feel bad about it...

Goes to show that you can't take things like this for granted =/
