Rendezvous with Rama Done with Rama, awesome novel. Not very charecter driven but the story is still very vivid and full of excitment. This is what Ringworld should have been, bess based oncharecters and more based on the "object" of the story. Where Ringworld failed was the shallow charecters tht Niven tried to give depth to, as where Clarke focuses on the story rather than developing the charecters. It works well in Rama, and I know Clarke can write charecters, he did a very good job in Fountains of Paradise with that. Recomend both of these works of Clarke. Next up, Doomsday book.
