23 year-old male from Grain Valley, MO What can I say? Work at a dead end job and do nothing but play video games and Wow all the time... and that's all I need right now.
What a Week... So In this past week I bought both Alan Wake and Red Dead Redemption as well as Mass Effect on games on demand. Lets just say Alan Wake was beautifully done... that is except for the character lip syncing in the cut scenes (Oh god were they bad) but other then that it was a load of fun. I personally can't wait for the DLC that are coming so that I can get some more game play out of it.
As for Red Dead I must say that it was a very fun "Time Waster" game. In that I mean it will keep you playing for a long time while you try to complete everything you can in the game.(The strategy guild helps a helluva lot) My only gripe about the game is the multiplayer of it. Well for starters I am not to into the multiplayer of games unless they can pull it off in a good way... I'm strange that way. But except for the Free Roam that you do I didn't personally like the gang matches, although the Free Roam is way fun.
Now that brings us to the game I just bought Mass Effect. First off anyone got any pointers? From the hour that I played it looks like its also going to be a big "Time Waster" game but even more so then Red Dead. Seeing as I haven't got any where in it I can't really say anything about it so far so I will give a update later.
Two last things before I sign off. This week marks my 40,000 Gamer Score (thanks to 100%ing Alan Wake) but because of my brother's game Eternal Sonata I now have 40,154... 4!? Really? Why would someone make an achievement that is an odd number... even number... well you know what I mean. Now I have to play that game though just so I can get the other achievement that evens it out to a nice number and god will that take forever. Also I managed to buy and beat Brutal Legend finally and I though it was a very fun game and worth a buy. But boy do I hate its multiplayer achievements.(same goes for Red Dead)
