Ow...
My entire body hurts. I played too many sports this weekend.
Saw Meet the Robinsons on Friday night... yeah, that was pretty much the definition of a Disney movie. Remember Finding Nemo? That's a Pixar movie. The Lion King? Aladdin? Peter Pan? Golden age Disney stuff. This movie was bad Disney. Really. It was very shiny and random, which distracted me sufficiently to make it entertaining, but I... wouldn't see it again. >.<
Post the movie, I proceeded to play Ultimate out on the quad for two hours with a light up Frisbee... that was the best decision I've made in a while. Especially the team I was on won both games :).
Saturday I had a wine and cheese box social, which was kickass. It is kind of annoying that people don't understand me when I'm drunk. I drink to have fun. So, when I start drinking, I'm usually already in the "fun" mood, which means I want to be crazy and ridiculous. Then the alcohol kicks in and my "crazy and ridiculous" filters disappear. My friends think I'm wasted when in reality I'm just enjoying the buzz. *sigh*
Sunday I played trombone football, and praised God that I don't get hangovers. I was already sore from Ultimate, but I decided to run around some more anyway... bad choice. Then I played soccer that night.
I am currently a giant ball of aching muscles.

Current obsession: OK Go I like music especially what I call "rainy day" music which to me is not so much "depressing" as it is "calm and relaxing." The kind of stuff you sit on your porch and listen to while the rain falls down. Pretty. I also like angry and loud rock music like Trapt jam out music like the Fratellis and LBC nerd music like Jonathon Coulton music with lyrics that are wordy and sensational like relient k and Jason Mraz and general indie stuff. | | Movies |
I adore movies. I don't like scary movies so much but I will endure them (and then not sleep for days). War movies are good too I like 'em. Anything with a torture scene is very very iffy. I like comedy but I'll only go to a romantic comedy with you if you're willing to let me dissect it aloud and predict the ending (I'm not saying that's hard to do I'm just saying that I'll do it). I also like movies that are super complex and symbolic and make you think. I like thinking.
