I recently purchased a pair of
Sennheiser HD 515 around ear "audiophile" headphones and I've got to say, they're top notch for the small price of $100 (ish). The volume is massive, I have the volume on my iMac at 2 and I can't hear my iPhone going off right next to me at full volume. The quality of the sound is fantastic, awesome surround sound, amazing bass and not a whiff of the oh so horrid tinny sound. The comfort on these babies are fairly good, they feel weird the first couple of times you put them on they'll feel odd but it's unnoticeable after 30 seconds.
Overall I'd give it 4½ stars
