I find it unlikely anyone will see this, but I'm still trying to get back into this... a little over a year later. I might as well just say what I've been up to lately. A couple months ago, I signed up with the Marine Corps, and I recently finished the rest of my test for it. I took the Defense Language Aptitude Battery Test and that was hard as hell. I only scored a 91 on it out of who knows. Like 180? Decent score, although it could have been much, much better. In the meantime while I await my ship date in October, I need to select my job, I'm hoping for an MOS in the Signals Intelligence (26xx series). Hopefully, jobs will drop soon, and I can select it. When I also took my ASVAB I got an AFQT score of 93, which pretty much guarantees me any job in the Marine Corps, aside from ones with other qualifications.

I really hate waiting for all this, I really want to get out of Florida and see something other than palm trees. I'm working at a Publix chain grocery store while I wait to get out. Not what I like exactly, dealing with people's shit all day long. About half of the other employees are double my age and yet they haven't moved any where with their lives. A good bit of them haven't grown up either, they act like high school students. What I'd love more than anything else is to get an internship at Knight's Armament here in town so I can actually learn something.
