you should look into/ post some independent research to get people to join your group
not meaning offense here, just giving an opinion
if the only post is welcoming new members who don't exist a month ago (given proof by the lack of comments) then no one will want to join, whereas if there are posts about the hypothetical tech used then people's interest may be piqued

but oh well, this isn't really the place for that anyway right?

thats your logic here, and its flawed
metal gear isnt a shooter, being good at fps games doesn't mean you're good at others
and its old, so you were younger when you played it, typically meaning not as good
