I try really hard to hold on to the good ones. I try to believe there's as many good as there are bad, but I don't really think that's true. I usually tell myself the bad ones are just louder so they get more attention, but at every turn people prove me wrong by silently voting against gay marriage or just holding their prejudice in quiet. But then there are people who surprise you.
A friend of mine married a man who was a weird form of racist. He didn't hate blacks or wish ill upon them, he just sort of avoided them and had some racist views. It was a weird southern in between, I suppose, but he was definitely like I will never vote for a black man to be president. His wife supported Obama, and one day he heard her listening to a speech by him. He didn't see the screen but whatever the words were really resonated with him, and he asked who it was. He was surprised, and actually became a supporter of him in the end, even putting an Obama sign on his Kentucky lawn, which was practically declaring war on his neighbors at that point.
Bennington College is up in Vermont, and located in a pretty small town, so there's really nothing to do up there unless you like to ski, but that's only in the winter.
Ohio University is in Athens, which is also a middle-of-nowhere town. I don't want to go to a place where I'd basically have to stay on campus the entire time.
No. I wasn't going to sacrifice a refinery of people for Zaeed's loyalty and I didn't have enough Charm to get Miranda back on my side after her fight with Jack.
I ended up losing Legion, Mordin, Zaeed, Miranda and Grunt.
I'll probably try and start another playthrough using my ME2 warrior, or I'll wait till spring break or some other suitable period, finish the first Mass Effect and use that file in ME2...and probably fudging with the romance so I can get the achievement and still have no conflicts of interest in ME2 and 3...
