Deadline set photos.
This is weird man. weird shit. So, utterly, mind-bogglingly surreal being on Deadline set and seeing scenes being filmed. Some I've imagined for nearly five years. Seeing it get filmed, some totally different, some exactly the same. Really odd. We're two days in. Ok, so the producer has been uploading a bunch of photos to instagram, and here's a bunch. it's instagram, so they are all square and look old timey, but it shows you some on set stuff. By the way, Deadline isn't a horror film, though these photos might make it look otherwise. The characters in the film try to make a movie, and the movie they try to make is horror. But Deadline is a comedy.  The cast sits and waits while the slate shows what take it is.  Filming my "contractually obligated by the writer" cameo. I'm one of the actors trying out for the film. I'm not so good.  Me acting like I know what I’m doing.  Our awesome amazing camera crew working out the next shot.  The star of the horror film within a film, Trauma Nurse putting on her makeup.  This bit was so funny we blew two takes with the whole crew, literally everyone on set bursting into laughter.  First take of day two. Action!  the controlled chaos of a set. So yeah. Deadline’s being filmed right now. Thought you might like to see some set photos. Will try to keep posting them as we go along. Now I’ve got to wash some fake blood off my hand and crash. |
