I heard about the blizzards, flood, roads closing, sandbags, UND shutting down for a few days, and other general mayhem.

Oh yes. It is a 2008 SS turbocharged. 260 hp, laps the 'Ring at 8:22, which is faster than the Z. I mean, not bad... for a cobalt.
