Long awaited return
After her 62 day vacation @ Turpike Ford, Fiona (the wife's Ford Focus) has finally come home. Much joy was had. They denied our warranty claim 3 seperate times. The engine had major internal damage, and was 10,000 miles short of running out of warranty. We had to jump through hoop after hoop and even made calls to the plant it came from and thats where we finally caught our break. The warranty claims manager took an interest in the case and then he had the claim rejected. His next step went to his boss in Detroit and then tada, denied claim overturned. Brand new engine installed. Sometimes it pays to bitch a little. |
