Why Not
Seems to be a habit of mine, spending one evening on here every 2 months or so, making a bunch of posts that people quickly reply to. I just don't reply to those posts until I log in in another 2 months time...
As for journals, I never seem to know what to write. Seems pretty sad when I can't remember anything interesting about the last 9 months to write. I'll give it a stab anyway, just don't expect anything to be interesting.
Work is good, I'm officially a 3rd year trainee now, which essentially means I still know nothing, because I do nothing important at work because I don't know enough, and Uni doesn't teach me anything that is remotely useful for work. Still, today I was going through some engineer reports that were written 13 years before I was born, trying to find some equipment specifications. It's really strange to see how different everything was handled in 1975 compared to now...
University is ok. Finally starting 2nd year subjects due to only taking 'half' (more like three quarter) load due to work. Results are getting better as I adjust to the university style of teaching, I can only hope that I continue to improve.
It's kinda sad... I know that extremely few, if any people will ever read this, but I'm going to post it anyway. Despite it all being stuff that only my better friends would care about, not that they seem to come here anymore either. Ah well, even I need to talk sometimes, even when it's only to the empty void that is the tubes of the Internets.
