1 Year, Moving on
I've been in Japan almost one year now. Technically it's like April 4th or something, but my 1 year contract is over now, so it's good enough for me. I was wondering what I would do after the contract finished, and about a month ago I made my decision. A friend here has bought his own English conversation school into Tsukuba, Japan. It's a 2-hour car drive from here, a little closer to Tokyo. We went there Thursday to move some stuff in, and I'm really excited. It's a great little college city, so I'll really be able to make some good Japanese friends my age (and, ahem, maybe find myself a good girlfriend). So anyway, I'll be working as a teacher at my friend's school. It is going to be grand, and I finish moving there tomorrow! Before I get started with the job, though, I will be going on a trip with two of my friends and my sister; off to visit sites in Tokyo & Kyoto. This is going to be excellent.

Interests Seriously? A lot of things interest me. I'm just curious about stuff. So what really gets me thinking? I guess if you got to know me you'd find out. :)

CHRONOCLIFF'S...
Music I listen to music from animes movies and games about 80% of the time I'd say. Then about 10% to both Christian music and more modern rockish stuff. I hate listening to: rap heavy music other stuff that I can't even make out words to other stuff that sounds like the music was just thrown together or stays the same for 5 minutes. I admit I'm rather adamant. There's not much middle ground for me..
Movies The Last Samurai. Serenity. Appleseed. These are movies I could watch over and over.
TV Shows These can be summed up as cartoons & scifi. I'm a big fan of SG-1 Andromeda Firefly and especially Battlestar Galactica. As far as cartoons go I mostly just enjoy anime now. For the past say decade us Americans forgot how to make good cartoons. There's no story and usually the animation sucks. The exception to this is Avatar: The Last Airbender. Still it is influenced by anime and Chinese lore. Some of my favorite animes include Gundam Wing Hellsing Project Arms Last Exile Trigun Full Metal Alchemist Azumanga Daioh Monster FLCL and D.N. Angel.
Books Honestly I haven't read in a long time. But I like my books same as shows - they need a good story. I spent a summer reading all the Harry Potter books and enjoyed them.
