Dragon's Dogma (Full Game)Aww yeah, let's get this shit started!
EDIT: Basically, this game is just about as awesome as the demo portrayed it as, if not moreso. There are some things that I was not prepared for, though...
Primarily, the save system. Dear god, what the hell? This game is so unforgiving when it comes to saves, you don't even know. I was doing one quest, saved before I knew a major battle came up, was unprepared and died after a long and what seemed to be a fruitless battle. Then I chose 'retry from last checkpoint', which one would assume means where you last saved. Nope. Then I chose 'retry from last checkpoint', which one would assume means where you last saved. Nope. It's when you last were in a TAVERN (or riftstone, which is normally found in or near a tavern from my experience so far). Holy fuck, I have to do that mission all over again?! Fuck that, I'll just go explore and shit!
A few hours later, I save before a big battle, get into said battle and die. I load - this time choosing the other option which is simply 'retry'. I'll let you take a guess as to where I spawned. I'll give you a clue: nowhere close to the place I first saved at. FFFFFFFFFFFFFF

Sadly, I haven't come across enough big enemies to get me giggling like an idiot - I have, however, wanted to murder the ever-loving fuck out of bandit swordsmen. Fuck those units to hell and back.
Of course there's the repeatable dialogue, WTF talking animations and a complete lack of giving a shit for anyone in the game, but I really didn't expect Capcom to reach the Bioware-level of making me care about these people, especially considering my first reaction to the demo and also reviews from other gaming websites.
Now, though, with all that being said, I would instantly buy a sequel for this game right now. The gameplay is just stellar, the world has a lot of potential to build off of so far and, well, improving on writing and plot at this stage couldn't be that hard, right?
