Dear Secret Santa

I pretty much like everything, but I guess I have to start somewhere.

I like reading. My favorite authors are John Grisham and Robert Ludlum, but I love discovering new authors. Honestly, I like just about all genres of books that do not include Twilight. :-)

I love to play games. Most games are pretty expensive, but I'm going to mention them anyway. My preferences tend to be toward party or strategy games.

I'm a big sports fan, particularly Minnesota teams. I love baseball, hockey, football, and to a lesser degree, basketball.

I like movies and TV shows. My current favorite shows are Dexter, Modern Family, and Castle, though I watch many more. My movie preferences vary depending on my mood. Mostly I like intellectual/psychological thrillers (not so big on blood and gore), action/adventure, and *gasp* Disney/animated movies.

I guess that's about all I can come up with.

Alright...Let him know the team he's taking over isn't exactly...I can't think of anything nice to say. I know he does have some good pieces though. Just send me his email address and I'll add him most likely sometime tomorrow morning then drop Spot when I see he has joined. Make sure he knows that the keepers need to be set ASAP. Once he's in the league, I'll send him an email too describing how things work.

Finished updating the prices for your keepers. You will probably want to look at it. A few notes that might come up for you...

Joe Nathan was drafted and his price is $23.
Fister, Freese, Espinosa, Baker, Kennedy, and Venters were FAs that you're keeping. So, their base was one. I believe everyone else was drafted. Obviously, you had a ton of inflation since you had players with good years as evidenced by you winning the whole thing. Actually, you have less than one would think. I believe it was only $34 added in inflation.

Also, if you know anyone else who like to join, Spot (Pyro Spot) wants out.

Meh, I actually blame Harbaugh for the game being that close. The Niners moved the ball when he wasn't calling plays like a pussy. That's been his problem all year though. He has a thick playbook, but he doesn't use much of it. He opened it up a bit and Alex Smith showed he's capable of handling it.

Now, I still think Alex Smith sucks, but you can't perform much better than he did those last two drives. He's still the Kyle Davies of NFL QBs in my book.

Dude, he balled out...What he did was baller...He deserves credit....The defense played well, but Alex Smith wont that game for the Niners.

I can't even consider myself a hardcore gamer. I would say I used to be able to play at least fifty hours a week...Often time much more. That was when I didn't have a job though. So, I could do that and still do everything else I wanted to do. Now, I'm lucky to get fifteen hours in a week unless I really put forth an effort to. There are just too many other things I still need to do that I would have to abandon them completely to be able to just play games and/or read everything I need to play and/or read.

Just saw that you received The Pillars of the Earth. I loved that book. It's a hefty one, but was very, very entertaining. There's a sequel out too. I think it's a sequel. I know they're linked...I think they're linked. Either way, I have that, but it's quite a ways down my queue and I only read at work now. I don't see that changing anytime soon. The end of the month and early February see Final Fantasy XIII-2 and The Kingdom of Amular...Those will take quite a bit of time and should run me into Mass Effect 3...Which I will play forever and ever.

So, either way there is no way they didn't know that they didn't have enough by the time I pre-ordered. On top of this, once they sold out of all the copies, since they would've had to pull them for the pre-orders, they STILL made no attempt to let me know.

Now, I'm not going to necessarily blame the employees at that store. Calling to inform people that they didn't get enough copies might not be policy for all I know, but it only takes one employee who gives a damn to just do it out of courtesy.

Hell yeah. I'll be swimming in bitches. Bitches love money. I have to make sure the apartment I get allows dogs though. Many do not around here.

Yeah...Which is my advantage. First Data isn't exactly a small company either.

To be fair, being a Minnesota fan has almost never been good.
