The Communists are on the march again. Only one group can stop them. NATO of Blue vs. Red! Join the Alliance. People from all countries are welcome.
I won't be able to post anything about it on the news until Saturday - up until Wednesday is the poll for when to start the match on Fri, then the declaration of start time has to be up at least 48 hours in advance to let everyone have a chance to mark it in their calendars Might be best to make it the week after if Sundays are generally good for earlyish starts in the US
Hehe. I find a uniform helps give the team a sense of unity and having the same emblem (especially if Matchmaking puts us on Red team) strikes terror into the hearts of noobs before the game's even started, which is probably why clans do it
As for when, well... whenever. Looks like the free-for-all games will be Fridays, but we can poll our respective groups to see when works for us
It'd be quite funny to go into Big Team with 4 Comrades and 4 NATO on the same side against 8 unfortunate randomers
Hey, dude! I had a look through the options for Reach to see how good of a NATO uniform you can get... it's not perfect, but I came up with this: The same icon as us is the closest you'll get... one too many points, but hey. So Champion icon, toggled so the secondary is visible, with the Display background. Icon primary and background should both be white, while icon secondary will need to be one of the blue colours. Not sure which will look right since the icon colours don't 100% match the armour colours. Would be nice to see a few NATO players join us for a custom game or two and then some Matchmaking (I'm guessing your armour colour system would be similar to ours - either the Blue or Cobalt primary with own choice of secondary)
Maybe because when you do that, it's like signature Buck. Sometimes I have to go back to an episode to check a theory, but you usually have the references right there for me.
