Samantha Darko...?
It seems there's a new "Darko" movie coming out in May. It is through the eyes of Donnie's sister Samantha, like 7 years after Donnie Darko. I get the vibe that it will be one of those Hollywoodized sequels which does poorly because, well, sometimes the town's only big enough for one. I was, of course, excited when I saw the preview in the beginning of Losing Friends & Alienating People w/ Simon Peg and Kirsten Dunst. A new Darko? How awesome! but obviously, standing in the shadow of Donnie Darko, this movie will have to work hard to own up, in addition to not being directed by the director of Donnie Darko, Richard Kelly. Anyways, thoughts or comments anyone?
