28 year-old male from Northwest Iowa
There really isn't a lot to tell about me. I live in northwest iowa and work at Sioux Pharm, a small company around here that does all kinds of stuff. Technically, I'm the night production supervisor in the CS division. The Ironic part it, I'm the only guy there at night, so i supervise myself. But no boss and good pay and great benefits keeps me there, plus donuts every Wednesday and Friday mornings.

I am married and have 3 daughters, D!, Z! and V, plus a son, R! D! is 4, Z! is a about 2. V! and R! are twins, newborns yet, and cute as a button. They all are my pride and joy.

Vacation time!

That's right, work is done for me for the year! Until the night of january 3, i most likely won't have to do any work! And it feels great!

Christmas is here! It's one of my favorite times of year, for many, many reasons. First, it's usually snowy, though not this year. Would be nice to get an inch or two of the white stuff, if not much more. Second, kids are happy and off school, so that's a win, too. Third, my mom is here with us. Last couple of years, she and my youngest brother have come out here, but this year, my brother couldn't make it. Still, mom is here, and it's great because the kids tend to behave better when grandma is around.

And of course, it's because of Christmas itself. I love the music, i like the lights and the decorated tree. Gifts are cool to get and give, too, especially watching little kids play with wrapping paper and ribbons. But all that awesome fades in comparison to the real meaning of Christmas. Christmas is when we Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus on earth a couple of thousand years ago. This is when God came down to earth. Without Christmas, there could be no Good Friday and Easter, no salvation from hell.

So you all make sure to eat a lot, enjoy your gifts, shovel snow if you get it. I will be.

I have a top loading machine, but the washing powder I make and use can be used in an HE/Front loading washer as well, except you would only use one tablespoon for a load of laundry.

Yes, but that woulda made for an all sorts of complicated question.
It's only the bottom tiers of counties and only during the January antler-less season for now.
Couldn't find an easy reference to it, but bottom of page 6 shows where.

In reply to alexkerensky, #5:

I ended up walking away from chemistry for an hour, then coming back to the problem at hand with a half-distracted mind. Keeping myself from being able to overfocus let me figure it all out. Crisis averted.

Cat5/6e cabling's signal runs out at ~100 meters or ~314.3 feet. Give or take a couple dozen feet/couple meters in either direction due to weak signal, low power, or crimps in the line.
